How to Host a Housie Night with Ludo Housie Club: Step-by-Step Guide

7 October 2026 · 5 min read

Remember those Housie nights where everyone gathered around their tickets, waited impatiently for the next number, and celebrated the moment someone shouted “Full House”? That doesn’t have to disappear just because your friends and family are no longer all sitting around the same table.

With Ludo Housie Club you can bring a Housie or Tambola night online: create your own club, invite your people, and play together wherever everyone happens to be. Whether it’s a weekend get-together, a family game night, or just an excuse to get the group in one place, here is how to host your own.

How to host a Housie night online with Ludo Housie Club — six steps from creating a club to celebrating the winners.
The whole thing in six steps.

1. Create your club

Start by creating your club. It becomes your group’s own space for playing and keeping in touch — give it a name your people will recognise, whether that’s the family, the college group, the office lot, or the usual weekend crew.

Once it exists, everything else hangs off it. You only do this part once.

2. Schedule your Housie night

Pick a date and time that suits the group and schedule the game. Give it a title people will recognise in a notification — “Saturday Housie Night, 9 PM” does the job perfectly.

Scheduling ahead matters more than it sounds: it gives everyone time to actually turn up, which is the difference between four players and fourteen.

3. Invite friends and family

What is a Housie night without your favourite people? Share your club invite link — WhatsApp, Telegram, wherever your group already talks — and let them join.

Because you are playing online, the table is not limited to whoever is in the room. The cousin who moved cities and the friend who works nights can both be there.

4. Go live and start calling numbers

When the time comes, start the game and let the numbers run. This is where the familiar part takes over: everyone watching their ticket, the pause before each call, the groan when it is not yours.

Numbers are called automatically, so nobody has to sit out as the caller — and voice chat keeps the talking going between calls, which is the actual point of a game night.

5. Mark your ticket, chat and enjoy

As numbers are called, players mark their tickets and claim patterns as they complete them — Early Five, the three lines, and Full House at the end.

But a good Housie night was never only about the ticket. It is the banter between numbers, the celebrations, and the one person who has been saying “just one number left” for ten minutes.

6. Celebrate the winners — and play again

When the game ends, make a proper fuss of whoever got there first. Then schedule the next one.

Your club already exists, so a Housie night does not have to be a one-off. Make it a weekly fixture, or just pull everyone together whenever the group needs an excuse.

Why host it on Ludo Housie Club

The awkward parts of a physical Housie night — finding someone willing to call, printing tickets, checking a claim while fifteen people watch — are exactly the parts software removes. What it should not remove is the room, which is why the social side matters more than the animations.

Make your next get-together a Housie night

You do not need an elaborate party to make an evening memorable. Most of the time you need your favourite people and a good game. Create your club, pick a night, invite everyone, and call the numbers.
